Part of our Delivery / installation process
Delivery of racking systems is a process that covers important factors. It is different from a standard delivery as racks for sale are large, heavy and it's considered a freight delivery. Some of the point to keep in mind when scheduling your racks for sale are;
Customer Responsibility: it critical to understand that our driving hires are drivers only. Their responsibility is only to deliver the shipment of racks to your location. If installation is not schedule or order in our system, You the customer is responsible for unloading the truck and providing forklift if needed.
Liftgate Service: If you don't have a forklift or a loading dock, you must request and pay for it in advance. A liftgate is a hydraulic platform on the back of the truck that can lower the pallets to the ground, where you can then move them with a pallet jack. This service is an additional charge.
If installation is scheduled. our crew would take care of the load for a proper installed. The customer is responsible of ensuring that the are where we are setting up the racks is clear of any obstacles.
Our Crew is not for hire. We would not help mount customer loads onto the racks once installed.
Check for Damage: Look for any signs of damage to the packaging, such as broken shrink wrap, bent metal, or scuff marks.
Having a clear understanding of the delivery process and being prepared on the day of delivery will help avoid delays and additional fees. If you have a specific location in mind, it's always best to communicate your site's capabilities with your racking provider beforehand.
